Acquisitions Support Agent (Real Estate)

Location: Hybrid role based in Pomona, California; employees are required to work and reside in California unless otherwise noted. The position combines work at an SCE facility with remote work on remaining days and includes site visits and job walks.

Salary: $79,200–$118,700 per year

What you will do

• Negotiate and acquire land, easements, temporary permits, and licenses for utility and customer projects.
• Prepare applications and project descriptions for federal and state agencies and railroads while supporting NEPA and CEQA compliance.
• Provide real estate support for project teams, including survey approvals and California Public Utilities Commission and government agency approvals.
• Manage project closings, records, document transmittals, archives, and acquisition tracking data.
• Attend project meetings, advise internal and external customers, and develop acquisition plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Conduct site visits and job walks, research properties using mapping tools, and support continuous improvements to acquisition processes.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience with right-of-way or real property transactions and real estate acquisitions.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Ability to work and reside in California and report to an SCE facility under the hybrid work arrangement.
• Ability to protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, proprietary, and other sensitive information.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Urban Planning.
• California Notary Public License.

• SRWA Certification.
