Procurement Engineer (Fit-Out)

Location: Maadi, Egypt. Workplace: On-site

What you will do

• Evaluate technical specifications and define the engineering materials and services required for construction and fit-out projects.
• Research suppliers and assess their quality, cost, capabilities, and delivery performance.
• Prepare and issue RFPs and RFQs, collect bids, and negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
• Coordinate procurement strategies with project managers and engineers to align with project requirements and timelines.
• Monitor orders through delivery, resolve procurement issues, and maintain accurate procurement and supplier records.
• Support compliance, supplier performance evaluations, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in procurement engineering or a similar role, preferably in construction or real estate.
• Strong understanding of engineering materials, specifications, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
