Paraplanner (Financial Planning)

What you will do

• Prepare suitability reports covering financial advice types, products, and investment solutions.
• Conduct technical research and prepare responses on technical financial planning matters.
• Support Financial Planners during client meetings, including cashflow modelling.
• Maintain accurate Know Your Client records, core systems, and advice documentation.
• Manage workloads, delivery dates, processes, and personal targets.
• Identify and report risks, breaches, and errors, while supporting projects across the Financial Planning Team.

Requirements

• Demonstrable paraplanning experience with solid technical knowledge.
• Proven experience delivering written financial advice.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS).
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, communication, literacy, numerical, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with Financial Planners, and manage stakeholders.
• Compliance with FCA guidelines and maintenance of an accurate CPD log.

Nice to have

• Desire to undertake further examinations and work towards Chartered status.
