Finance Planning Platforms Manager (Oracle EPM)

Location: Chicago, United States. Hybrid work with four days in-office each week.

Total cash compensation: $121,400–$186,150 annually, inclusive of annual base salary and target incentive.

hirify.global provides independent investment research, ratings, and data, while its Finance Systems & Business Intelligence team develops the systems, data, and processes supporting financial planning and reporting.

What you will do

• Own operational support for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, compensation planning, allocations, and management reporting cycles.
• Build and maintain ad hoc reports, dashboards, data extracts, and self-service tools for FP&A stakeholders.
• Serve as the first point of contact for platform questions, incidents, issue resolution, and escalation to technical teams.
• Lead discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, integrations, testing, release management, and deployment readiness for planning-system enhancements.
• Establish governance standards, security models, controls, documentation, change management, and user enablement.
• Own the planning systems roadmap and prioritized projects, coordinating scope, sequencing, resources, timelines, risks, and stakeholder reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of FP&A or related finance experience, including hands-on ownership of a budgeting, forecasting, workforce, or compensation planning cycle.
• At least 3 years of experience with Oracle EPM platforms such as PBCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting, or Hyperion Planning, or a comparable enterprise planning platform.
• Experience building reports and analyses from planning platforms, working with metadata or business rules, and supporting end users.
• Experience translating FP&A requirements into system solutions and leading cross-functional Finance and Technology projects.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks, SDLC, Agile processes, change management, and Finance transformation initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or a similar planning tool.
• End-to-end ownership of a compensation or workforce planning cycle.
• Experience with managed service providers, offshore teams, or external application support partners.
• Experience with Workday, Snowflake, Tableau, or enterprise data platforms.
