Product Compliance Manager (Abu Dhabi based)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE. Work-from-home arrangement may vary depending on the nature of the business team.

What you will do

• Review and approve new products, features, financial instruments, assets, and business initiatives for alignment with FSRA rules.
• Act as the regulatory liaison for product submissions, regulatory queries, and approval processes.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, rulebook gap analyses, and operational testing.
• Develop product compliance plans with cross-functional stakeholders and maintain related policies, frameworks, and monitoring controls.
• Provide practical compliance advice, training, and support to staff.
• Support internal compliance audits.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of regulatory compliance experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or traditional financial services.
• Deep familiarity with FSRA rulebooks, including GEN, COBS, and MIR.
• Experience engaging with regulators and responding to regulatory queries during new-product approval processes.
• Experience preparing rulebook gap analyses, risk assessments, and detailed proposals for FSRA review and approval.
• Ability to communicate practical, commercially focused guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail.
