Compliance Operations Officer (Fintech)

Location: Larnaca, Cyprus; hybrid work model with 2 days working from home

What you will do

• Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and disclosures accurately and on time.
• Monitor compliance risks related to investment and ancillary services and traded financial instruments.
• Track regulatory developments, assess their impact, and draft regulatory specifications for new initiatives and products.
• Conduct regulatory research and gap analyses, then design action plans and testing methodologies to address identified issues.
• Investigate compliance breaches, misconduct, and client complaints, including evidence gathering and cross-department coordination.
• Prepare investigation reports, complaint responses, trend reports, and remediation recommendations for senior management and the Head of Compliance.

Requirements

• BSc or BA in Legal Studies, Finance, Business, or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a multi-regulated investment firm.
• Strong ability to analyze complex processes, identify regulatory gaps, and design testing methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; resumes must be submitted in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
• Applicants must be eligible or have legal authorization to work in Cyprus.
