Information Technology/Assurance (IT/IA) Specialist I (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Ramstein-Meisenbach, Germany. Travel required: 10–25%.

Base salary: $81,349–$87,630 per year, with possible location-based uplifts and allowances.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day IT and information assurance support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
• Configure, maintain, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot servers, firewalls, network appliances, security monitoring systems, and related hardware and software.
• Prepare and update authorization packages, coordinate technical and cybersecurity evidence, and notify customers about changes affecting accreditation.
• Identify system vulnerabilities, implement countermeasures, and conduct cybersecurity self-inspections.
• Administer user accounts, VTC systems, government-issued laptops, help desk services, and external information system client support.
• Manage COMSEC accounts and equipment, media accountability, system testing, and operational readiness activities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• TS/SCI clearance is required to start; ability to attain TS/SCI with a CI polygraph is required.
• Two or more years of related experience, including prior system or network administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience, such as four additional years of experience.
• IAT Level I or IAM Level I certification, including certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Windows operating systems, LAN/WAN technologies, backup technologies, COMSEC integration, Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, system security policies, and PL2 systems.

Nice to have

• Previous SAP experience.
