Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Temporal Platform)

What you will do

• Build the infrastructure foundation for a production Temporal platform operated as an internal shared service.
• Deploy and scale containerized runtimes on Kubernetes or OpenShift, configuring resource policies, autoscaling, networking, secrets, and GitOps promotion.
• Integrate enterprise SSO, identity providers, role mapping, service identities, and access controls.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and production observability with Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Establish multi-tenancy, namespace isolation, developer enablement, on-call practices, incident response, and operational ownership across internal and vendor boundaries.
• Make reliability, security, availability, consistency, backup, recovery, retention, and performance trade-offs for distributed systems and durable data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience operating production distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes or OpenShift, enterprise networking, private connectivity, identity, and managed-service integrations.
• Experience administering or integrating Temporal or a comparable durable-execution engine such as Cadence.
• Proficiency in Go and Infrastructure as Code/GitOps practices using Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, or equivalent tools.
• Production observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with Temporal SDKs, including Java, Go, and TypeScript, plus enterprise SSO, access controls, multi-tenancy, and incident response.
