Lab Technician Junior (Toxicology)

Location: Gretna, Louisiana, United States. Initial training runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 PM–3:30 AM; the schedule changes to the standard posted schedule after training.

What you will do

• Operate GC/MS and LC-MS/MS instruments for confirmatory toxicology testing.
• Perform testing according to SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct assigned quality control activities.
• Review and interpret test results for accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and procedures.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.

Nice to have

• Experience operating GC/MS and LC-MS/MS instruments.
• Knowledge of SAMHSA or other regulatory guidelines.
