AI Systems Engineer

Location: Geneva, Switzerland; on-site. Three anchor office days are required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Candidates must be based in Geneva or be willing to relocate to Switzerland.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operationalize AI-native capabilities, including Claude MCP integrations, custom Claude skills, Rovo agents, and Enterprise Apps connectors.
• Own and continuously evolve Jira Service Management as an internal platform, including service catalogs, SLAs, queues, request types, and routing.
• Administer and govern the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem, including Jira Software, Confluence, JSM, Guard, Loom, Trello, and Bitbucket.
• Engineer workflow automations and integrations across Atlassian, Slack, HR platforms, identity providers, monitoring tools, and other enterprise systems.
• Manage JSM Assets, CMDB data integrity, IT hardware, software licenses, and configuration items.
• Define ITIL-aligned processes, support security and audit requirements, and partner with internal teams on platform improvements and roadmap planning.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-native systems using Claude or Anthropic platforms, MCP, agent frameworks, connectors, and prompt-based workflows.
• 5+ years of enterprise administration experience with Jira Service Management, Jira Software, and Confluence Cloud.
• Experience with workflow automation, REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with CMDB or IT asset management systems and strong knowledge of ITSM and ITIL v3/v4 processes.
• Understanding of IT General Controls, access governance, security, compliance, and audit-readiness requirements.
• Fluent English and the ability to work on-site in Geneva, Switzerland, with relocation support available for the posted location.

Nice to have

• Scripting experience with Python, Groovy, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Okta, JumpCloud, Slack, Zoom, NetSuite, BambooHR, or Salesforce.
• Experience supporting external audit engagements.
• Atlassian certifications such as ACP-620, ACP-120, or ACP-420.
