Enterprise Architect (Azure)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States of America. Relocation may be considered. Expatriate assignments will not be considered.

hirify.global is an energy company seeking an enterprise architecture professional to guide technology strategy and standards across the organization.

What you will do

• Convert stakeholder strategy into actionable, cost-efficient, and secure architecture blueprints.
• Conduct architecture reviews and assessments against technical guidelines, policies, and guardrails.
• Define and communicate target architecture, high-level designs, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead or participate in architecture runway activities and ceremonies, managing dependencies across teams.
• Review and improve enterprise architecture standards and help leadership define technology policies and strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of enterprise architecture experience and 10 years of technical IT experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience across development and operations, including DevOps.
• Knowledge of architecture styles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship and time-limited visa status are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience with Erwin, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, SQL, Power BI, Spark, Python, or R.
• Familiarity with Azure AI/ML Services, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Ansible, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
