What you will do
- Analyze requirements, user stories, technical designs, integrations, risks, dependencies, and test coverage needs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive functional, exploratory, regression, integration, negative, boundary, exception, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Perform hands-on manual testing and design automated UI, API, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Build reusable and scalable automation frameworks, fixtures, utilities, and test-data capabilities using Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Test React applications, micro frontends, C#/.NET APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and legacy .NET Framework applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, establish quality gates, investigate production defects, and mentor other testers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience with significant hands-on automation experience.
- Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, TypeScript/JavaScript, reusable automation frameworks, test fixtures, parallel execution, and cross-browser testing.
- Experience testing REST APIs, JSON/HTTP services, microservices, distributed systems, backend integrations, databases, and asynchronous workflows.
- Working knowledge of C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, React, microservices, micro frontends, REST APIs, SQL/SQL Server, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, risk-based testing, CI/CD, defect investigation, root-cause analysis, test coverage, and release readiness.
