Senior Director, Data Analysis (BI Shared Analyst Team)

What you will do

• Lead data governance strategies and policies covering data availability, usability, integrity, security, privacy, and quality.
• Oversee metadata repositories, data catalogs, reference data management, data lineage, taxonomies, and business rules.
• Collaborate with enterprise leaders and business partners to define data quality requirements, standards, naming conventions, and remediation plans.
• Direct root cause analysis and resolution of business data issues, including process and specification improvements.
• Set priorities, align resources across portfolios and initiatives, and coach data management professionals in an agile model.
• Develop strategic frameworks, workflows, and knowledge-management practices that support the organization's data culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or six years of relevant experience in data and analytics and/or data management.
• Experience with ETL or data integration tools, data platforms, cloud computing technologies, and related emerging technologies.
• Experience with one or more of SQL, Teradata, Python, Hive, MicroStrategy, Ab Initio, messaging, or NoSQL.
• Understanding of metadata management, cataloging, lineage, data relationships, mapping, physical and logical data models, and business rules.
• Advanced leadership, organization, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, consulting, and influencing skills.
