What you will do

• Interview and assess potential clients for eligibility, job readiness, and appropriate service streams.
• Develop, update, and revise individualized service plans with clients.
• Provide career coaching, résumé reviews, interview preparation, training research, and motivation.
• Monitor client progress, engagement, documentation, and progress against service plans.
• Refer clients to community resources and follow up on referrals.
• Deliver welcoming, safe, professional, and confidential services.

Requirements

• Post-secondary certificate, degree, or diploma in a relevant field, or related experience.
• At least 2 years of experience coaching and mentoring clients, including individuals from diverse groups.
• Experience supporting persons with disabilities or clients facing significant barriers to employment.
• Knowledge of the local labour market, community resources, government programs, job search techniques, and career development.
• Strong digital literacy, including social media and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage stressful situations in a fast-paced environment and provide a criminal record check.
