Location: Remote within the United States; eligible states are Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. Travel is typically quarterly and may occur every two months for research, testing, and related activities.

Salary: $133,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

  • Define product strategy, vision, goals, success metrics, roadmap, and backlog for a new K–12 EdTech product line.
  • Lead market research, concept development, prototyping, user testing, and iterative product development from concept to launch.
  • Build business cases, secure executive resources, and make stage-gate go/no-go recommendations.
  • Manage agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and evidence-based scope adjustments.
  • Present product progress, evidence, and business cases to leadership, department directors, and the Board of Directors.
  • Coordinate researchers, instructional designers, UX, engineering, delivery, and go-to-market teams while managing budgets, dependencies, and product performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in EdTech or youth-focused industries.
  • Proven experience leading 0–1 product development and launching products that reached scale and revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools for product development, user research, or personalization.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience managing or influencing cross-functional teams and understanding K–12 education markets, including district and school purchasing dynamics.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
