Senior Network Security Engineer

Location: Wyoming, Michigan, United States. Hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day working from home. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule approximately one week every three weeks.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise network security architecture across on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and OT environments.
• Lead migration from legacy proxy and remote access technologies to SASE and ZTNA platforms.
• Develop reference architectures, engineering standards, design patterns, roadmaps, and Zero Trust security controls.
• Design unified segmentation using next-generation firewalls, micro-segmentation, and cloud-native security controls, including protection for OT and ICS environments.
• Integrate IAM attributes, device posture, risk signals, SAML, OIDC, and directory services into dynamic network access policies.
• Lead NDR, DNS security, WAF, DDoS protection, encryption, certificate automation, infrastructure as code, incident response, security metrics, and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale security architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Expert knowledge of next-generation firewalls, SASE, ZTNA, micro-segmentation, Zero Trust, cloud security, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience securing multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP, with knowledge of cloud networking, transit architectures, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience with IaC, automation, and policy-as-code using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, and GitOps.
• Knowledge of NDR, PKI, certificate lifecycle management, encryption, secure communications, OT/ICS security, and cross-domain troubleshooting, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
