Senior Technical Content Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with occasional in-office days in the Manchester or York area, UK

What you will do

• Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for technical content covering product documentation, modeling standards, application documentation, and localization.
• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-team organization of approximately 15–18 people, including team leads.
• Modernize content planning, production, maintenance, content management systems, and documentation tooling.
• Identify and implement responsible AI-powered workflows for content creation, review, updating, and translation.
• Contribute directly to complex or high-visibility content and maintain editorial standards.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, UX, and Support while defining metrics for content quality, coverage, freshness, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience managing a mid-size team of approximately 15–25 people, ideally across multiple teams with team leads.
• Experience establishing and scaling enterprise technical content operations, documentation, or knowledge bases.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to content creation, editing, quality assurance, or localization.
• Working knowledge of modern content management systems and documentation tooling, including component content management systems or docs-as-code platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working with senior Product, Engineering, and Support stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with occasional in-office days in the Manchester or York area, UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of enterprise planning, EPM, or connected planning software.
• Experience running or scaling a technical content localization or translation program.
• Background in SaaS or enterprise software documentation, including API, application, or platform documentation.
