Principal Technical Author (Gas Turbines)

What you will do

• Lead complex modifications and upgrades for SGT gas turbines from contract award through final commissioning.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and global product competence centers to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor project budgets and cash flow, implement corrective actions, and manage contract variations.
• Serve as the primary contact for external customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and commercial risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 8+ years of technical project management experience in power generation, oil and gas, or rotating equipment.
• Experience delivering complex gas turbine upgrade or service projects.
• Project scheduling, resource planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting skills.
• Knowledge of SGT gas turbine technology and modifications engineering principles.
• PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification; hirify.global PM Certification is advantageous.
