CHOICES Supervisor- Middle Grand Region (Medicaid)

Location: Remote based in Nashville, Tennessee, with regular travel throughout Middle Tennessee; 90% day travel required. The covered area includes Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Dickson, Giles, Hickman, Humphreys, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Perry, Van Buren, Warren, and Williamson Counties.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate Care Coordinators and other care coordination professionals serving CHOICES members.
• Provide clinical and operational guidance for complex, escalated, and high-profile member situations.
• Monitor staff performance, utilization benchmarks, documentation quality, contractual requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with providers, nursing facilities, community partners, and internal departments to address care barriers and service gaps.
• Support training, onboarding, workforce planning, workload balancing, reporting, audits, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Carry a member caseload when required by staffing transitions, census fluctuations, or other business needs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in health insurance or managed care.
• Active Tennessee registered nurse license, a license in a Nurse Licensure Compact state of residence, or an active unrestricted Master of Social Work license.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet 90% travel requirements throughout Middle Tennessee.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and coordinate multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
