CI/CD Pipeline Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Remote within the United States; support for a CBP contract in the Northern Virginia area, including Ashburn, VA.

What you will do

• Deploy and maintain DevOps infrastructure for mission-critical applications with attention to scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Automate software build, configuration, testing, and deployment processes within an Agile Scrum team.
• Install, configure, and maintain tools for source control, continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, repositories, provisioning, releases, logging, containerization, collaboration, and security.
• Develop and maintain automated build pipelines using Docker, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, AWS technologies, and related tools.
• Collaborate with architects, technical leads, developers, testers, and stakeholders on Agile delivery.
• Support resource estimates, delivery metrics, defect prevention, quality improvement, and occasional off-hours deployments.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a CBP background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute with more than five years of related experience.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins, WebLogic, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Istio, API Gateway, and GitLab.
• Ability to design and document continuous integration and continuous deployment solutions.
• Experience administering, configuring, and maintaining application stacks including Spring Boot, databases, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong process automation, organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, plus exposure to certificate lifecycle management.
