Security Architect (Microsoft Azure)

What you will do

• Design and implement enterprise security architectures and solutions focused on Microsoft Azure and the broader security toolset.
• Develop security documentation, standards, and best practices for protecting enterprise assets and data.
• Integrate and optimize secure web gateways, zero trust access, cloud security posture management, data protection, and related security capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT, security, risk, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives and reduce security risk.
• Design remediation strategies in response to security assessments and risk analyses, and support troubleshooting and implementation.
• Maintain alignment with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and current threat landscapes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on security tools, architecture, and cloud security.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Security Services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure AD, and Azure Firewall.
• Experience with Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, Microsoft Defender, zero trust models, SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP, and network security solutions.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls, with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with PowerShell or Python automation, cloud templates, container security, and modern public-cloud application architectures is preferred.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CCSP, or Azure Cloud Security certification.
• Experience automating security controls and securing containers and modern cloud applications.
