Application Production Support

Location: Hybrid work in Lisbon 2–3 times per week; candidates must be based in Portugal and have Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Provide technical and functional support for in-house and third-party applications in production environments.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Support SQL databases across Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Sybase.
• Prepare environments for releases, run pre-production tests, and support migrations, re-hosting, and infrastructure changes.
• Automate and monitor operational workflows using Batch, Autosys, Jenkins, Ansible, and Dynatrace.
• Maintain operating system, networking, security, file transfer, and infrastructure components.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Application Production Support.
• Experience with Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management, including SLA-based resolution.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Windows, Windows Server, Linux/RHEL, and UNIX/AIX.
• Knowledge of CFT, MQ, FTaaS, FTP, SFTP, and PeSIT file transfer technologies.
• Knowledge of networking, encryption, firewalls, virtual machines, load balancers, Terraform, TLS/SSL, SSH, PKI, certificates, and SAST/DAST.
• Fluent English at C1 level and availability for hybrid work in Lisbon are required. Banking sector knowledge and familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Agile, DevOps, and SecDevOps are also expected.
