What you will do
- Co-own client relationships for assigned research contracts alongside the Senior Research Manager.
- Manage contract governance, deliverables, milestones, KPIs, compliance documentation, risk records, and escalations.
- Track and report recruitment, engagement, retention, data completeness, study timelines, and contract performance.
- Coordinate patient services, practitioner operations, programmes, business intelligence, product and technology, Commercial, Research, and project management functions.
- Present progress, risks, trends, and forward plans to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify growth opportunities and support bids and funding applications with operational evidence and client intelligence.
Requirements
- Experience in client relationship management, contract management, account management, research operations, or service management.
- Experience owning contract or project outcomes end to end and acting as the single point of accountability.
- Ability to coordinate multiple functions without direct line management authority.
- Confidence working with performance data, dashboards, trends, and stakeholder presentations.
- Working understanding of research protocols, ethics approvals, participant recruitment, and research data governance.
- Strong communication, organisation, meeting facilitation, and escalation-management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in digital health, healthcare, academic research, life sciences, or another complex research environment.
- Experience with research contracts involving universities, research funders, or industry sponsors.
