Location: Remote within the United Kingdom; candidates must reside in the UK and be legally authorised to work there.

What you will do
- Support end-to-end payroll processing through Activpayroll for the UK, Ireland, France, Denmark, Spain, and the Netherlands.
- Validate payroll inputs, calculations, statutory deductions, bonuses, overtime, payslips, tax filings, and social security contributions.
- Coordinate payroll data integration between UKG and Activpayroll, maintaining accurate and consistent employee data.
- Work with HR, Finance, Tax teams, external auditors, and tax authorities on payroll compliance, reporting, and audits.
- Handle employee payroll enquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide guidance on payroll processes and compliance.
- Coordinate year-end payroll activities and monitor changes in EMEA legislation and requirements.
Requirements
- Experience processing payroll across multiple EMEA countries in an EMEA Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of EMEA payroll legislation, tax regulations, statutory deductions, social security, and benefits requirements.
- Experience with payroll providers, external vendors, and end-to-end payroll systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- UK residence and legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

- Payroll certification or professional qualification, such as CIPP.
