SAP Payroll Accounting Automation Analyst

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; 60% on-site

What you will do

• Gather and document business requirements for payroll and related business activities.
• Analyze information from multiple sources and create requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts, and test results.
• Support the development and execution of testing for payroll and downstream systems.
• Represent the payroll automation function in meetings and written and verbal communications with internal and external customers.
• Identify and document internal controls to support audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field, or equivalent experience and training.
• 3–5 years of experience in payroll, finance, or accounting.
• Experience with SAP Payroll is required.
• Experience in business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, process modeling, system design, and implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ability to understand multiple labor agreements and work with changing priorities.
