Focus on modernising fragmented integrations, improving high-traffic system reliability and latency, and coaching engineers and emerging leaders through organisational change.
Location: Dublin, Ireland; predominantly remote with attendance at a collaborative Dublin space when established

What you will do
- Manage a team of individual-contributor software engineers up to Staff level and own up to three engineering domains.
- Lead delivery across frontend, platform, backend, and data services while balancing technical quality, business impact, and delivery timelines.
- Drive supplier integrations, inventory management, booking reliability, and platform modernisation.
- Own the team backlog and facilitate technical and product decisions with Architects, Designers, and Product Managers.
- Hire, coach, mentor, and support career progression for engineers and emerging leaders.
- Guide teams through reorganisation, leadership transitions, and scaling challenges.
Requirements
- Experience in engineering management with a strong hands-on technical foundation.
- Experience managing multiple engineering teams and leading managers or technical leads.
- Track record of delivering complex full-stack systems across web or mobile frontend, backend, data, and platform services.
- Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices, including DORA metrics, team health tracking, and delivery tooling.
- Ability to communicate technical priorities and trade-offs clearly to Product and Business stakeholders.
- Ability to work predominantly remotely while attending the Dublin collaborative space when required.
