Senior Technical Product Manager (Material Handling)

Location: Basingstoke, United Kingdom; travel within the UK and overseas may be required

What you will do

• Lead a team of technical product managers and report to the Director of UK Technical Operations.
• Act as the product expert for a defined range of products supporting the UK and Ireland aftersales market.
• Deliver and support integrated engineering projects involving hardware and software configuration.
• Analyze faults across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and digital systems.
• Coach and mentor engineers and support their professional development.
• Propose electrical equipment design modifications for specific requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience with current systems, features, and technologies across relevant product ranges.
• Experience in materials handling technology and integrated engineering projects.
• Direct people management experience, including objective setting, performance management, communication, coaching, and mentoring.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and digital systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Proof of the right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available.

Nice to have

• HNC-level or equivalent qualification in engineering or science.
