General Operator (Chemicals)

Location: Parlin, New Jersey, United States; onsite role with rotating 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot reactors, tanks, dryers, filters, pumps, fans, hoses, and valves used in polyimide resin production.
• Measure and load raw materials, set operating conditions, and complete batch processing tasks.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and drum lifters for material handling.
• Perform in-process quality tests, including viscosity, pH, and moisture testing.
• Record production and quality data, perform routine process checks, and report safety, environmental, or production issues.
• Shut down, lock out, and restart equipment for maintenance while maintaining PPE and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Ability to work legally in the United States is required; visa sponsorship and support are not available.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, perform basic math, and use Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, and support staff.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as scheduled.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
