What you will do
- Lead day-to-day logistics execution from suppliers to utility-scale solar project sites.
- Plan and control door-to-door road, ocean, and air shipments, including transloading, container drayage, road transport, and project-site slot arrangements.
- Coordinate last-mile deliveries and track shipments end to end, taking corrective action on deviations.
- Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PLs, suppliers, customers, and internal project stakeholders.
- Maintain project status reports, TMS data, close-out documentation, and lessons-learned reports.
- Monitor budgets, vendor and lane KPIs, SLA performance, and service or cost deviations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
- 6–8+ years of logistics coordination or operations experience in industrial, EPC, or energy sectors, ideally involving solar PV projects.
- Experience managing end-to-end multimodal transportation across Australia and coordinating deliveries to project sites.
- Strong knowledge of Australian transportation modes, regulations, shipping processes, Incoterms 2020, customs, and packaging.
- Experience managing 3PLs, customs brokers, SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance.
- Proficiency in TMS, ERP systems, Anaplan, and advanced Microsoft Excel; OTM experience is an advantage.
