Network Procurement Officer (Telecommunications)

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Source infrastructure, colocation, network, and internet services across APAC/ANZ, with support for EMEA and North America.
• Prepare business cases and recommendations for network expansion and strategic initiatives.
• Negotiate, administer, and monitor supplier and third-party agreements.
• Support annual COGS budgeting, monthly financial reporting, and network cost KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Sales teams on network strategy and improvements.
• Maintain accurate procurement and vendor records while supporting special projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or business development in telecommunications or a related field.
• Experience managing contracts and suppliers across multiple vendors or regions.
• Commercial understanding of network transport, internet transit, and data centre services.
• Confidence reviewing contractual terms and negotiating with suppliers.
• Strong analytical, financial, budgeting, communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently across different time zones and take ownership of tasks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies, including the OSI model.
