Operations Controller, EMEA (Finance Automation)

What you will do

• Own the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of monthly close activities across more than 15 entities and countries.
• Manage local revenue, COGS, and transfer pricing calculations using approved methodologies.
• Control OPEX, travel and expense spend, balance sheet accuracy, liquidity, deposits, cash flow, and financial anomalies.
• Build and deliver the Accounting automation roadmap by removing manual and repeatable work across and outside the ERP.
• Ensure accurate input and output VAT accounting, implement e-invoicing readiness, and drive corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with Business, FP&A, Legal, People, and Workplace teams while supervising and developing the Accounting team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting and operational finance experience in a high-growth company.
• Experience in a multinational environment with cross-border reporting requirements.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
• Proven experience applying VAT rules and VAT accounting across Europe.
• Advanced experience deploying and overseeing automated finance tools, agent frameworks, and modern financial data stacks.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organization, prioritization, planning, and attention to detail.
