Accounting and Finance W-2 Consultant (ERP)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Engagements may be hybrid or fully onsite, depending on client and project requirements.

What you will do

• Support general accounting, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, management reporting, and financial modeling.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting operations, cost accounting, product costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
• Support internal controls, SOX compliance, audits, revenue and technical accounting activities.
• Contribute to ERP implementations and upgrades, process improvement, finance transformation, and other client initiatives.
• Assess client needs and provide hands-on expertise while adapting to new organizations, systems, and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, depending on the assignment.
• Strong hands-on experience in one or more accounting or finance disciplines.
• Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or another relevant professional certification.
