Operations Expert (Banking Operations)

What you will do

• Support back-office Operations Control for the Singapore and Hong Kong booking centres, primarily across MIS and reporting.
• Handle data extraction requests from Operations and prepare monthly management information, statistics, audit data, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate with internal partners and relevant departments on extracts, MIS, regulatory requests, and audit requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports for OTC derivative products, including HKTR and DTCC reporting.
• Set up market rules, approve trades from the Pretrade Validation queue, and maintain static tables.
• Support subaccount opening for Trade Processing and Corporate Action teams and participate in user acceptance testing when required.

Requirements

• Degree qualification and at least 2 years of relevant experience in banking or a related discipline.
• Experience with MS Office, macros, data extraction tools, and management information systems.
• End-to-end knowledge of the private banking value chain.
• Strong attention to detail, risk and control mindset, integrity, and ability to identify and mitigate risks.
• Good communication skills, initiative, teamwork, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with VBA or SQL is advantageous.
