Production Artist

Location: On-site in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Salary: $45.00–$55.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Create high-quality artwork for basic to intermediate production assignments, including packaging and circulars.
• Incorporate branding guidelines, photography, text, legal requirements, and client specifications into final layouts.
• Attend client and pre-production meetings to gather assignment information.
• Complete deliverables accurately, consistently, and on schedule using industry-standard software, tools, and print techniques.
• Maintain project status and planning information in the project tracking system.
• Work within production workflows, assigned budgets, company procedures, and client brand standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts or a related field.
• 6+ years of graphic arts experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Apple Mac systems, Adobe Design Suite, Acrobat, QuarkXPress, Agile, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, prioritization, problem-solving, planning, budgeting, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Occasional local, national, or international travel and overtime may be required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or master’s degree.
