Visual/Print Designer (Graphic Design)

What you will do

• Design print materials including posters, publications, reports, and signage.
• Create layouts that balance technical accuracy with visual clarity.
• Develop illustrations and visual assets to explain complex ideas.
• Apply typography, layout principles, and visual hierarchy to support readability.
• Collaborate with writers and technical partners to refine content presentation.
• Prepare production-ready files and review final layouts for consistency and quality.

Requirements

• US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
• On-site work in Pasadena, California is required.
• Mid-level experience in visual and print design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print design, typography, and layout.
• Illustration skills and a strong understanding of visual hierarchy and communication.
• Highly skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Nice to have

• Experience working within brand or design systems.
• Conceptual, technical, or explanatory illustration experience.
• Production-ready mindset with strong organization and attention to detail.
