Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Engineer (M365/Entra ID/Azure)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, resource groups, and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, GDAP, Exchange Online, and phishing-resistant authentication.
• Act as the Tier 3/4 escalation authority for identity, messaging, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure issues, leading root-cause analysis and complex troubleshooting.
• Align outsourced Tier 1/2 helpdesk operations with escalation workflows, ticket-routing boundaries, SLAs, and standard operating procedures.
• Partner with Security & Compliance to maintain hardening baselines, SOC 2 Type II controls, automated evidence gathering, and incident-response containment actions.
• Automate tenant administration, reporting, and bulk identity operations using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise systems engineering, cloud administration, or infrastructure delivery, preferably in an MSP or multi-tenant environment.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, including Conditional Access, PIM, Intune endpoint compliance for Windows 11 and macOS, and Exchange Online.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure, virtual networking, VPNs, NSGs, resource groups, virtualization, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Strong PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with tiered support, ConnectWise or similar PSA/ticketing systems, and outsourced Tier 1/2 service desks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience with Nerdio Manager.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, or CompTIA Security+ certification.
