Manager, Datacenter Operations (Microsoft Cloud)

What you will do

• Own the Microsoft Azure strategy, roadmap, enterprise architecture, landing zones, subscriptions, policies, networking, shared services, and hybrid integration.
• Lead architecture and governance for Microsoft Intune, endpoint security, Microsoft Entra ID, identity lifecycle, privileged access, and authentication standards.
• Own Microsoft 365 tenant administration and Exchange Online strategy, including domains, mail flow, connectors, security dependencies, licensing, and major platform initiatives.
• Establish cloud security baselines, resilience requirements, audit controls, lifecycle standards, and remediation plans for platform-level risks.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, automation, financial governance, cost allocation, licensing optimization, and technical-debt reduction.
• Lead a small technical team, manage strategic vendors, define operating models, and provide senior escalation and governance leadership for complex platform issues.

Requirements

• Technical leadership experience managing cloud, identity, endpoint, infrastructure, or Microsoft platform teams in an enterprise environment.
• Deep expertise in Azure, Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including architecture, governance, security, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Strong experience with Azure landing zones, management groups, Azure Policy, RBAC, networking, private connectivity, hybrid integration, and endpoint management across Windows, iOS/iPadOS, and Android.
• Advanced identity and access management experience covering Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication, PIM, Identity Protection, access reviews, entitlement management, and hybrid identity.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, source control, CI/CD, scripting, APIs, configuration management, security, compliance, audits, and risk remediation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Endpoint Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, or Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, CIS, Zero Trust, or Microsoft cloud architecture frameworks.
