Senior Solutions Architect – Asset Management

Location: Minneapolis, MN; on-site at least three days per week

Salary: $161,072–$217,920 per year

What you will do

• Set solution architecture direction across Asset Management, supporting investment research, portfolio management, trading, operations, and reporting workflows.
• Design end-to-end architectures and resilient integration patterns across internal and vendor platforms.
• Define architecture patterns, data product standards, security controls, metadata, lineage, quality, access, and regulatory traceability practices.
• Evaluate modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks through proofs of concept and benchmarks.
• Lead cloud and legacy modernization, including multi-region architectures, data pipelines, observability, and automation.
• Validate AI and emerging-technology use cases, define reusable guardrails, and mentor analysts and engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in architecture and/or senior engineering roles.
• Financial Services experience with Asset Management or Capital Markets, including investment, portfolio, trading, operations, risk, and reporting workflows.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, lake house, dbt, distributed data processing, orchestration, observability, and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Ability to communicate architecture to business and technology audiences, influence stakeholders, and lead through ambiguity.
• Must work on-site in Minneapolis, MN at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with investment platforms such as Aladdin Studio, FactSet API and MCP offerings, or Bloomberg DL+.
• Knowledge of data modeling, integration patterns, metadata, lineage, data governance, and cataloging platforms.
• Exposure to AI or agentic architectures, MCP servers, safe tool-use patterns, and production AI.
• Programming and scripting experience with Python, SQL, or Java.
