Phlebotomist

Location: Gainesville, Florida, United States. Full-time onsite schedule, Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays approximately once per month from 8:00 AM–11:30 AM.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on clinical support to client employees and their dependents.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, take vital signs, and room patients.
• Support patient check-in and check-out, reminder calls, scheduling, and other clinic responsibilities.
• Maintain safe working practices and follow infection control, organizational, and emergency procedures.
• Assist with supply inventory and may train new employees on phlebotomy procedures.

Requirements

• Current national phlebotomy certification from an approved organization, or a certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited phlebotomy program with a completed hands-on externship.
• Online-only phlebotomy courses are not accepted.
• CPR certification with a hands-on skills evaluation meeting American Heart Association standards; online-only courses are not accepted.
• Six months to one year of phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment, or completion of an approved course with 100 hours of clinical experience.
