Maintenance Technician (Valley, NE)

Location: Valley, Nebraska, United States; onsite plant role

Salary: $39.76/hour starting rate, plus a $1.25/hour shift differential for second or third shift.

What you will do

• Use machine and hand tools, including saws, grinders, drill presses, sanders, files, taps, and welding equipment.
• Perform construction, fabrication, repair, and modification work using steel, sheet metal, plastic, and wood.
• Move and install plant and production equipment, including leveling, grouting, setup, startup, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic piping.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment adjustments.
• Maintain tool inventories, complete daily time and work records, gather required data, and keep the work area orderly.
• Follow department safety rules and contribute to the Environmental Health and Safety culture.

Requirements

• Completed and verified two-year technical degree or higher in a maintenance-related field before starting.
• Availability for a fixed second shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. or third shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, regular overtime, and short-notice shift coverage.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Four years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
