What you will do

• Support the Department Supervisor in training and cross-training warehouse personnel.
• Coordinate daily production requirements, customer requirements, employee assignments, and changing priorities.
• Monitor quantities, productivity, labor requirements, product movement, and scanning-system records.
• Lead shift start-up meetings and maintain employee break and lunch schedules.
• Ensure safe equipment operation, clean work areas, clear aisles, and compliance with company procedures.
• Operate equipment and perform warehouse labor functions, including lifting and material handling.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of department duties and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Some college coursework or at least 3 years of experience in an automated distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Prior leadership experience and strong interpersonal, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of facility automation, equipment, AS400, and PC systems is desired.
• Must be certified to operate powered lift equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and walk, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, and climb as required.
