Senior Resilience & Continuity Specialist (Business Continuity Planning)

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, or Johnston, Rhode Island; hybrid schedule with four days in office and one day remote.

Salary: $95,000–$135,000 per year, plus potential incentive earnings.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of Business Continuity Plans for a business line and contribute to the Operational Resilience program.
• Advise business units as a subject matter expert on business and technology resilience, aligning practices with regulatory expectations and industry standards.
• Facilitate impact tolerance setting, scenario testing, critical business service mapping, and Business Impact Analyses.
• Develop recovery strategies, workarounds, and plans aligned with Recovery Time Objectives and Recovery Point Objectives.
• Coordinate planning activities, stakeholder sign-off, resilience testing, and requirements for technology and physical work-area recovery.
• Maintain governance documentation, metrics, reporting, and evidence for audits and regulatory reviews.

Requirements

• Must work from Westwood, Massachusetts, or Johnston, Rhode Island, with four days per week in the office.
• At least 4 years of Business Continuity Planning experience for AVP-level roles or 7+ years for VP-level roles, preferably in financial services.
• Knowledge of Operational Resilience, Crisis and Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, and business and technology resilience concepts.
• Strong project management, organization, stakeholder coordination, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• A bachelor's degree and a recognized Business Continuity certification such as ABCP or CBCP are preferred.

Nice to have

• Commercial or consumer banking knowledge.
• Experience with Archer/GRC, ServiceNow, or Everbridge.
