Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist 3 (Mortgage Servicing)

Location: Office-based role in Columbus, Ohio; applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Process loan payments, payoffs, NSF reversals, ACH transactions, and cash adjustments.
• Handle complex consumer loan servicing activities, including account research, reconciliation, quality assurance, reporting, and monetary transactions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex and exception-based requests.
• Train new colleagues, cross-train existing colleagues, and complete quality control testing.
• Participate in system upgrades and testing while maintaining procedures and job aids.
• Collaborate with management, risk, compliance, and audit teams to support regulatory and investor requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous leadership or team lead experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial servicing.
• At least 2 years of experience with the Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP).
• Familiarity with mortgage regulations, compliance requirements, and investor guidelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
