Senior Credit Controller

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of complex customer accounts and collect outstanding receivables against cash collection targets.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, deductions, short payments, and billing issues.
• Conduct collection calls, negotiate payment commitments, and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Partner with Sales, Billing, Finance, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to remove payment barriers.
• Escalate issues appropriately while retaining ownership through resolution.
• Maintain accurate collection notes, forecasts, and account action plans.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 or more years of hands-on cash collection experience and broader Accounts Receivable knowledge.
• Experience managing complex commercial or enterprise accounts.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, reconciliation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent telephone, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
