Freelance In-Person Event Host

Location: On-site in St. Louis, Missouri, United States; candidates must already be based in St. Louis.

What you will do

• Host engaging, team-building social impact events that support nonprofit causes.
• Welcome, engage, and inspire participants during in-person experiences.
• Present events in partnership with nonprofit organizations or lead them independently.
• Use storytelling to help volunteers understand the impact of their participation.
• Give clear instructions and guide volunteers through activities while managing group dynamics.
• Attend 1–4 preparation meetings before each event, depending on complexity.

Requirements

• Fluent English required.
• Must be based in St. Louis, Missouri, and available for on-location events.
• Strong experience in event hosting, facilitation, and emceeing.
• Comfort interacting with large groups, small groups, and individuals while keeping events engaging.
• Experience with group facilitation, public speaking, storytelling, and managing group dynamics.
• Ability to think quickly, solve problems during live events, and deliver excellent customer service and presentations.
