Sr. Cybersecurity Advisor (AI)

Location: Fully remote within the continental United States; based in Leawood, Kansas, with travel within the U.S. and Canada and internationally as needed.

What you will do

• Design scalable cybersecurity solutions for client initiatives involving AI, security services, and technologies.
• Identify AI-related security concerns, tools, products, and opportunities across client environments and cybersecurity programs.
• Drive pipeline generation, qualify opportunities, manage proposals, and support deals through closure.
• Lead executive-level discussions, presentations, whiteboard sessions, and thought leadership activities.
• Collaborate with account teams, domain specialists, service delivery, technology partners, and internal teams to align expectations and implementation.
• Maintain trusted advisory relationships while tracking AI industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• At least eight years of information security experience, including at least three years focused on network security solutions.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent applicable experience.
• Experience as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer, with strong business and technical acumen.
• Understanding of AI-related threats, vulnerabilities, defensive controls, and the current security landscape.
• Strong presentation, written, oral communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work with distributed teams remotely and in person; valid driver’s license required.

Nice to have

• CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
• Vendor certifications focused on AI and related areas.
• Experience leading an information security function or program.
• Experience speaking at events and promoting AI technology thought leadership.
• Participation in professional organizations such as ISACA or ISSA.
