Senior Data Scientist (Report Developer)

What you will do

• Analyze Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and BusinessObjects universes to understand data logic, calculations, and business rules.
• Redesign and rebuild reporting assets in QlikView and/or Qlik Sense.
• Debug BusinessObjects reports and Qlik applications, and re-engineer SQL, scripts, and expressions.
• Validate migrated reports against source outputs to ensure data accuracy and parity.
• Document migration mappings, logic changes, and discrepancies while collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Optimize Qlik data models and load scripts for improved performance.

Requirements

• Experience developing and maintaining SAP BusinessObjects reports, including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Universe Design.
• Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and/or QlikView, including data modeling, set analysis, scripting, and expressions.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Experience debugging and re-engineering existing code and reports.
• Experience with data migration or business intelligence platform transition projects.
• Understanding of ETL, data modeling, validation, and quality assurance concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with NPrinting or other Qlik reporting extensions.
• Familiarity with Python or VBScript for automation.
• Experience migrating BusinessObjects to Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server relational databases.
