Quality Assurance Manager - Virginia - USA (Electronic Security Systems)

Location: Richmond, Virginia, USA, or Sterling, Virginia, USA. The role requires onsite project and field activities, travel up to 25%, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work on ladders and elevated platforms.

What you will do

• Lead quality assurance, safety, governance, and standards compliance for electronic security system installation projects.
• Act as the first escalation point for field issues, integration problems, customer concerns, and implementation-phase support.
• Conduct monthly QA/QC reporting, site surveys, site verification, commissioning-readiness checks, and final preparation reviews.
• Train staff on installation standards, termination, mechanical work, client interfaces, lift operation, fall protection, and related field practices.
• Manage subcontractor oversight, labor coordination, documentation, scope adherence, and project decisions within budget constraints.
• Mentor team members, support growth plans, and drive root-cause analysis and cross-functional process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction trades and settings and at least 3 years of experience with electronic security systems.
• Leadership, planning, labor management, conflict resolution, stakeholder communication, and documentation management skills.
• Ability to prioritize safety and quality, interpret technical drawings, coordinate materials, and use Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% and hold a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders and elevated platforms and lift 30 pounds.
