Sr. Endpoint Security Engineer I (Trellix)

Salary: $138,000–$166,000 per year, plus possible performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Own, design, deploy, and operate the enterprise Trellix endpoint security and data protection ecosystem.
• Monitor and manage ePO, ENS, EDR, DLP, encryption, application control, application whitelisting, and File Integrity Monitoring capabilities.
• Support security operations by tuning alerts, improving detections, investigating endpoint events, and performing root-cause analysis.
• Develop DLP policies, encryption controls, removable-media protections, data-classification safeguards, and endpoint-hardening solutions.
• Integrate endpoint telemetry with SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence, and identity-management platforms.
• Create automation workflows, dashboards, reports, SOPs, playbooks, and security engineering standards while supporting compliance validation.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Eligibility to work in the United States must be verified upon hire.
• Seven or more years of relevant engineering experience, including at least five years administering or engineering Trellix, McAfee, HBSS, or ESS solutions in a large enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Trellix enterprise products such as ePO, ENS, EDR, DLP, Drive Encryption, Policy Auditor, Rogue System Detection, Application and Change Control, and File Integrity Monitoring.
• Experience with application whitelisting, endpoint hardening, encryption, data protection, device control, and data-exfiltration prevention.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security architecture, threat detection, incident response, risk management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks.

• Experience with Trellix TIE and DXL.
