Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; territory includes WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ, UT, ID, MT, WY, CO, NM, ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX, MN, WI, AK, and HI.

Salary: USD 223,527.05–302,418.95 annually.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, coach, and develop a regional team of Medical Science Liaisons.
• Provide strategic direction for field medical plans, tactics, Scientific Engagement Plans, and measures of success.
• Oversee scientific engagement with opinion leaders, community healthcare providers, and Population Health Decision Makers.
• Guide the team in communicating clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to healthcare decision-makers within IDNs and other institutions.
• Ensure compliant execution of field medical activities, administrative responsibilities, and training requirements.
• Represent Field Medical with senior leadership and collaborate across medical, commercial, and other internal teams.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of Medical Affairs experience, or master’s degree and 8 years of Medical Affairs experience, or bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• At least 4 years of managerial or team, project, program, or resource-allocation leadership experience.
• Experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Experience in clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, or a medically related field.
• Ability to support the U.S. West Region territory and its listed states.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• Seven or more years of industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs.
• Three or more years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison role.
• Bone health expertise.
